Below are some of the most frequently asked support questions we receive regarding SentryPC along with detailed answers.  If you have a question not listed here or in our Support Center then please contact us for assistance.

If you forgot your password just visit www.sentrypconline.com, where you login to your account, and click on the 'Forgot Password?' link.  On the resulting page you can enter your username and details about resetting your password will be sent to the email address associated with your account.

If you do not know your username then you can refer to your order confirmation email or contact our staff with your ordering information so we can look it up.

If you have enabled two-factor authentication on your account and are having issues then please contact our staff.

Login to your account and change their settings.  The new settings will be applied shortly after making the changes.

First, make sure the viewer is automatically updating — it will count down from 15s then update when on.  If off, just click the button to start it again.  Next, make sure you have the correct filtering options set as this affects the results that are retrieved.  If you are still not receiving any new information then there simply isn't anything new to show you.  When the viewer is refreshing, each time the counter reaches 0 it will check for new information since the last time it checked and display any that it finds.

.CSV files are also known as 'comma separated value' files.  This is a standard format used in virtually all database/spreadsheet software.  You can import this file into any software that supports it.

This is a compressed file.  All versions of Windows and Mac support this file and you can simply 'extract' the files within it.  You can also use third party software such as www.winzip.com to accomplish the same.

Don't be alarmed — SentryPC is certainly not harmful.  What is happening is your scanner is mis-reporting danger due to the monitoring, filtering, and restricting nature of the software.  The problem is if your scanner tampers with SentryPC's files then it will not function properly.  You need to exclude SentryPC's files from your scanner(s) by :
